2022 Christmas Cantata

“A Promise Kept: The Blessing of Christmas”

Sunday, December 11th at 11:00am

As the Advent season approaches, the PCEPC Adult Choir is hard at work preparing our Christmas program for the 2022 season, “A Promise Kept: The Blessing of Christmas.” This choral presentation, arranged by sacred musician Marty Parks, will feature beautiful renditions of timeless carols along with brand-new compositions. The blend of traditional Christmas favorites and original pieces centers on God’s fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy through His Son and the promise of a new life in Him.
We invite you to join us during the 11am service on Sunday, December 11th, as we share this program with the PCEPC community. It is sure to be a morning of great music and reflection on the joys this season brings!

How and Where to Start Learning the Bible

Does the world around you seem chaotic?  Are you looking for peace and contentment?  Do you want to understand what the first Christmas was all about?  If you are looking for answers to these or other of life's questions why not begin to read the Bible?

Maybe you think there are too many words that you don't know the meaning of.  Or the Bible is too archaic and irrelevant in today's society.  Maybe you feel you're too busy and don't have the time.  Or you just don't know where to begin.

To help you get some answers, we are inviting you to join Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church on a five-week study, "How and Where to Start Learning the Bible".  For five consecutive Monday's starting January 16th you will discover the "why" and "how" of making the Bible your personal go-to guide for living.

Week 1: What is the Bible? (What the Bible says about itself, [Christians, culture])

Week 2: What are the elements of the Bible? (Time periods, books, authors)

Week 3: What is the narrative of the Bible? (Continuity of the message)

Week 4: Bible Study 1 (Why and how to interpret the Bible)

Week 5: Bible Study 2 (Application and group exercise)

This study is open to anyone in the Peters Township and surrounding communities that would like to come.  All study materials will be provided.  Meetings will be held in the Peters Creek EPC sanctuary from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

For more information or to sign up for this study please call 724-941-6210 or email danielle@peterscreekchurch.org
